Interview with CouponTweet Founder Chris Hill

The Twitter economy can be a many splendor thing, for developers, startups, Twitter itself, and users. A great deal of Twitter’s value has always lied in the third party applications, and CouponTweet is a great example of the way in which the Twitter platform can be put to good use.

CouponTweet, still in private beta, scours Twitter for coupons and great deals that you can take advantage of. The service is actually designed for Twitter integration as well as non-Twitter users, so it’s balancing an interesting line for the creation of a social media-driven service.

I got a chance to talk with CouponTweet’s founder Chris Hill this afternoon and he explains the CouponTweet service, the concept behind it, and the potential for a Twitter-powered economy. See the video below:
